The Place Where Children Are First

Helping families raise amazing children is what we do at OCLC. Call today for a tour and you will quickly see why families have chosen OCLC for over three decades.

The foundation of OCLC is the environment we create within our physical building because it is the design of our building that allows the curriculum and our teachers to maximize your child’s potential. The management and staff is dedicated to making the most of children’s early years. At OCLC, we do this by providing the best practices that offer your child exceptional early childhood learning experiences.

Our Curriculum

Where a Home Makes a World of Difference.
Our curriculum supports emergent STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, language), reading, math, science, social studies and music as well as character-building skills. OCLC offers enrichment classes in creative movement, art, music, and computers; this enhances students’ skills by integrating them into meaningful and real-life experiences. Though focused on skills, our curriculum addresses the needs of the total child and his or her physical, intellectual, social and environmental development.

Our Teachers

OCLC Teachers are all Skilled, Certified and Caring

At OCLC, our skilled and certified teachers specialize in early childhood learning. They are well prepared to guide children in building of a solid learning foundation. The primary teacher provides security and continuity of care, while the enrichment classroom teacher provides content of expertise. This team-teaching combination is core to OCLC’s philosophy and unique in early childhood learning centers. Early interaction with children affects brain wiring. Warm and responsive care appears to have a proactive biological function, helping children weather ordinary stresses. The quality of relationships and experiences during the first three years has a deep and lasting impact on how the brain gets “wired.” Early wiring of the brain sets the foundation for future development in life.
